The Itinerary

 

Day 1 | August 21, 2025:  Depart from the U.S.

Rest up on your overnight flight from the U.S. and get ready for your adventure! 

​

Day 2 | August 22, 2025: Arrive in Dublin
Arrive in Dublin and get settled at your beautiful hotel. Head into the city center, to take the Hop-On, Hop-Off bus tour using your 48 hour ticket and see this vibrant city of Georgian squares, bustling pubs, and the River Liffey. Choose a visit to one of Dublin's top attractions using your voucher: EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, Teeling Distillery, or the GPO Museum. Your evening is free to tour and dine independently.

Day 2 | August 23, 2025: ISU vs K State Aer Lingus Game
Enjoy your day at leisure and taking on all the excitement of the ISU vs K State Aer Lingus game.  Explore Dublin independently. You are free to explore the restaurants and pubs of the city center, or return to your hotel, for independent dining as you wish.  *A schedule transportation to and from Aviva Stadium area will be provided for your private group. 

 

Day 3 | August 24, 2025:  Dublin Tour | Teeling Whiskey Distillery
Enjoy a free morning in Dublin for further independent sightseeing with the included vouchers. Then your tour departs at 2:30 PM from the hotel lobby and sets off on a panoramic tour of Dublin city center. Visit the award-winning Teeling Distillery. This new distillery in the heart of the city was Dublin's first distillery to open in 125 years. Return to your hotel for a welcome drink and dinner with your group.

Day 4 | August 25, 2025:  Sheepdog Demonstration | Blarney Castle | Killarney
Relax and enjoy the farmlands of the picturesque midlands. Savor farm life as you visit a traditional farm; enjoy homemade scones with tea, and watch trained dogs show off their skills herding sheep. Visit Blarney Castle to kiss the famous “Stone of Eloquence” or explore the tranquil gardens. Travel through Macroom and into County Kerry where the scenery becomes more mountainous. Arrive in the charming town of Killarney.

 

Day 5 | August 26, 2025: Dingle Peninsula | Traditional Irish Dinner at Muckross Schoolhouse
Discover the glorious Dingle Peninsula, made famous in the movies “Ryan's Daughter” and “Far & Away,” which showcased the wonderful scenery found here. Travel to Slea Head at the westernmost tip of the peninsula for awesome views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy an evening of traditional Irish entertainment over dinner at Muckross Schoolhouse.

 

Day 6 | August 27, 2025: Jaunting Car Ride | Adare | Limerick Panoramic Tour
Take a traditional horse-drawn jaunting car through the Killarney National Park to Ross Castle and Kenmare Estate. Visit Moriarty's in the Gap of Dunloe, a CIE Tours preferred shopping partner. Stop in the picturesque village of Adare, with its thatched cottages and colorful garden, before proceeding to Limerick for a panoramic tour. Dine at a medieval-style feast, where lords and ladies will serenade you with songs and music from days of yore.

Day 7 | August 28, 2025:  Cliffs of Moher | Galway
Travel along the coast of County Clare to the spectacular Cliffs of Moher, soaring 700 feet above the churning Atlantic. Drive through the austerely beautiful landscape of the Burren on your way to Galway. Join a local guide in Galway for a walking tour of this thriving historic city; see its charming medieval streetscape, filled with small local shops and cafes, and many street musicians. Return to your hotel in Clare for dinner. 

 

Day 8 | August 29, 2025:  Tour Ends in Shannon
All good trips must come to an end. Your tour ends after breakfast. A Group transfer will be provided to the Shannon airport. * Breakfast Included

Optional Trip Protection Insurance is additional at $239 per person and is also due at the time of deposit.

Final payments are due April 15, 2024

 

Please note a valid passport is required and must be valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date. Your passport is not required at the time of booking and is just needed prior to departure.
